Book Review : Muppit Boy and the Wheel of Power  I had a lot of fun with Muppit Boy and the Wheel of Power. The book jumps straight into superhero territory, but Mo is definitely not your typical perfect superhero. He is still awkward, still worried about his oversized nose, still trying to figure out what to tell his friends, and still capable of getting himself into some seriously complicated situations. I liked that contrast because it keeps the story light and entertaining while giving Mo plenty of personality. The action is one of the strongest parts of the book. The Ferris wheel sequence is especially exciting, with Mo and Charlie working together to rescue people while the situation keeps becoming more dangerous. There is also plenty of humor sprinkled throughout Mo's narration, which makes even tense moments feel approachable. Another thing that stood out to me was the development of Mason Rizzo. The final message is simple but surprisingly powerful: adventure isn't always about travelling somewhere extraordinary. Sometimes it is about discovering a safe place and the people or in this case, puppies with whom you belong. Knowing afterward that the story was inspired by six re...
