Book Review : Consumed with Fire
Book Review : Consumed with Fire
Title - Consumed with Fire
Author - Theresa Gage
This is the fourth book by the author that I have read and I ended up binge reading it. Cassie is one of those rare characters who lingers in your mind long after you finish reading this book. Her internal conflict—torn between the pull of revenge and the weight of responsibility—felt raw and authentic, adding real emotional depth to the battle scenes.
Aidan’s dynamic with Cassie is another highlight; their partnership is fascinating to follow and gives the story a strong emotional core. Theresa’s writing style shines throughout—immersive and descriptive without ever sacrificing pace.
The suspense over Mori’s son, the looming threat of King Roark, and the uncertainty of survival kept me turning the pages late into the night. It’s rare to find a book that blends action, emotion, and character growth so seamlessly, but this one does it brilliantly. This story teaches the readers an important lesson to ask for help when needed.
